Bio
Andrè Rodríguez Pagán is an Antillean visual artist born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Immersed in the world of art from a young age, he spent much of his childhood in artists’ studios, apprenticing under renowned Latin American artists such as Domingo García and Andrés Bueso. His early exposure to the creative process informed his visual language and personal style.
Rodríguez Pagán is a graduate of the Central School of Visual Arts High School in San Juan, where he completed a concentration in sculpture and graduated with High Honors in 2001. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Photography from the Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño de Puerto Rico in 2006.
Today, Andrè Rodríguez Pagán lives and works between Miami, Los Angeles, and Puerto Rico, maintaining an active studio practice that bridges cultures and geographies. His work often reflects themes of identity, memory, and Caribbean heritage through a layered, interdisciplinary lens.
